Only compare yourself to yourself.

Stop falling into the comparison trap. It’s a destructive habit. Most people have flaws not reaching a perfect and inhuman standard. There is always someone who is better at something in the world. You have to realize that all people have their flaws. You have to realize that any flaw you have is not as bad as you think. You have to realize that having a certain flaw does not equal to not having any personal qualities.  Look at how far you have come instead. Only compare yourself to yourself. Truly have a loving peaceful relationship with yourself.

Find and create yourself.

Be secure in the unique way God made you. Find yourself, be yourself and own who you are.

Also find time to create yourself by bringing forth the person that you’ll always be proud of.

Release the greatest expression of your unique beauty and purpose.

Take courage:

All men have their fears but those who face their fears with God have courage. Faith is having the courage to let God have complete control.

When God speaks, often times his voice will call for an act of courage on our part. God give us the wisdom to know what must be done and the courage to do it.

Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is fear that has said its prayers. It’s the will to persevere even in the face of fear. Courage means you won’t let fear stop you even if you are afraid. It is the judgement that something is more important than fear. You are strong enough to face it all, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. You’ve always had the power; you just have to learn it for yourself. Take courage, have faith and believe in the promises of God.

Lord we thank you because we are strong and courageous. We are not easily afraid and discouraged because we know how great you are and you are always with us.

Joshua 1:9

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

It’s all part of the plan.

Lord we thank you because we boast in the hope of the glory of God. We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance produces character and character produces hope.

Sometimes the only way around suffering is to go straight through it. That which should distinguish the suffering of believers from unbelievers is the confidence that our suffering is under the control of an all-powerful, all loving God. There is always a purpose to suffering. If faced rightly it can drive us deep into the heart and love of God. It also purifies us, transforms our souls and leads us into more stability and spiritual power.

Besides drawing us closer to God, our suffering has meaning in God’s eternal plan. He allows into our life only that which is for his glory and our good. God is sovereign, and he is a God of love, mercy and compassion even in the midst of suffering. That is just who he is.

Romans 5:3

All our parts matter because we matter.

If you ever feel like you are nothing, a failure and a disappointment at everything and to everyone, that is just one of the enemy’s lies. Let no label stick unless it was put there by God. You are not insignificant. You are not invisible. Your presence on this earth makes a difference. You are not alone. You are not forgotten.

God spent time crafting you. He does not make worthless things. He sees you as the capable being you are and designed to become. You are priceless to God. He wants you to know that you matter to him.

None of us look alike. None of us has the same gifts. But we all have a part to play. And our parts matter, because we matter.

Lord we are cheerful because we know who we are. We found you our identity. Thank you for completing us. Thank you for continuously giving us life through your word.

Psalm 119:37

Do not fear to make a mistake.

The worst decision is indecision. Being paralyzed by indecision is worse than making the wrong decision. There is no substitute for a clear vision and a decisive direction. You can’t grow if you don’t trust your inner voice. You can never succeed unless you take action.

If you can’t make mistakes, you can’t make decisions. It’s better to learn through a mistake, than to do nothing and guarantee failure. Do not be afraid to make a decision and then follow through on it.  Sometimes you have to make mistakes to figure out how to make things right. Mistakes are painful but they are the only way to find out the reality. It’s not how we make mistakes, but how we correct them that defines us. Focus on what to do next instead of worrying about what went wrong.

Become a decisive person, and you will accomplish a lot more with less effort. Learn from your mistakes, correct the ones you can and continue being decisive. Do not be afraid of yourself. Do not be overly concerned about errors. No one learns to hear from God without making mistakes. If you believe it right, then do it. That is how you will find out for sure.
