God is sheer mercy and grace. He’s not easily angered. He’s rich in love. He doesn’t endlessly nag and scold. He doesn’t hold grudges forever. He doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve, nor pay us back in full for our wrongs. As high as heaven is over the earth, so strong is his love for those who fear him. And as far as the east is from the west, he has separated us from our sins. As parents feel for their children, God feels the exact same way for those who fear him.
From head to toe, our souls bless the Lord. We don’t forget a single blessing. We thank you for you forgive every one of our sins and you heal every one of our diseases. You redeem us from hell and save our lives. You crown us a paradise crown with love and mercy. You wrap us in goodness and beauty eternal. You renew our youth; we are always young in your presence.
Lord we adore you. We have a deep respect for you. Thank you for putting all victims back on their feet. Thank you for perfecting everything that concerns us.
