All men have their fears but those who face their fears with God have courage. Faith is having the courage to let God have complete control.
When God speaks, often times his voice will call for an act of courage on our part. God give us the wisdom to know what must be done and the courage to do it.
Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is fear that has said its prayers. It’s the will to persevere even in the face of fear. Courage means you won’t let fear stop you even if you are afraid. It is the judgement that something is more important than fear. You are strong enough to face it all, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. You’ve always had the power; you just have to learn it for yourself. Take courage, have faith and believe in the promises of God.
Lord we thank you because we are strong and courageous. We are not easily afraid and discouraged because we know how great you are and you are always with us.
