Don’t forget to fall in love with yourself first. It is one of the secret to happiness. The most powerful relationship you will ever have is the relationship with yourself. Self-love is not selfish. The surest way to lose your self-worth is by trying to find it through the eyes of others. You have been criticizing yourself for years and it hasn’t worked. If you’re searching for that one person that will change your life, take a look in the mirror. Work on being in love with the person in the mirror who has been through so much but is still standing.
You cannot truly love another until you know how to love yourself. You owe yourself the love that you so freely give to other people. What if you simply devoted this year to loving yourself more? Perhaps we should love ourselves so fiercely, that when others see us they know exactly how it should be done. Love yourself enough to take the actions required for your happiness, to cut yourself loose from the drama filled past, and to move on. Love yourself for all you have been, all you are and all you will become. Be proud of who you are and not ashamed of how others see you. Demonstrate love by giving it unconditionally to yourself. And as you do, you will attract others into your life who will love you without conditions.
How cool is it that the same God, who created mountains, and oceans and galaxies, looked at you and thought the world needed one of you too? Learn to see yourself as God sees you. We are beautiful in his eyes. Try approving of yourself and see what happens. We are stars in skin. The light you are seeking has always been within. Embrace the glorious mess that you are. Once you deeply connect with your inner self and embrace who you truly are, it empowers you with the strength and courage to resolve any outer aspect of your life and make the choices and changes you need and desire.
Thank you Lord because I love my body, face, personality, and quirks. Without them I wouldn’t be me. I’d rather be me than anyone else. I am confident with who I am. My happiness does not depend on others. I love who I am, my flaws, and my imperfections. They make me and “me” is pretty amazing.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful and I know that fully well.
Song of Songs 4:7
You are altogether beautiful, my darling. There is no flaw in you.
Many see the song of song as a symbol of God’s love for his people.
