Most people feel weakest when they are helpless. When they feel there’s nothing they can do to change a situation. They may feel inadequate, undeserving, unworthy or just not good enough. They feel their flaws define who they are. I have learned that God’s power shows most effectively in our weaknesses. Sometimes God will put a Goliath in your life, for you to find the David within you. Also David didn’t need to know Goliath’s strength because he already knew God’s.
Grace in Christian belief means the free and undeserved favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of his people and the bestowal of blessings.
Lord we thank you for all our weaknesses. We thank you for your grace and mercy. We thank you for your supernatural power. We thank you because when we are weak physically then we are strong spiritually. We also thank you because where our strength runs out, your strength begins.
Never let anyone underestimate you because of your weaknesses. Instead surrender them all to God. He is more interested in everything you are not than in everything you are. He will show you how strong you can be with him. He is not waiting to love you until after you have overcome your weaknesses and bad habits. He loves you today with a full understanding of your struggles. He just wants to be a part of it all. He will not take them away because he only puts us through as much as we can handle. He wants to make us stronger and wiser through them. If you’re seeing more of your weaknesses that just might mean you’re moving nearer to God, not farther away.

But he said unto me, ”My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
That is why for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
